COLFO’s Annual Trust & Confidence Survey is now open, and we need your input! This survey is an important tool that allows licensed firearm owners to provide honest feedback on how the Police and Firearms Safety Authority (FSA) is managing firearms licensing and administering the Arms Act.
Each year, the results of this survey help us gauge the community’s trust and confidence in Police and the FSA, particularly regarding their competency, fairness, and approach to licensed firearm owners. Your responses provide valuable data that we use in our advocacy work, ensuring that the concerns of responsible firearm owners are heard by officials and policymakers.
Why Your Input Matters
Licensed firearm owners are directly affected by how the Arms Act is enforced. This survey seeks to assess:
✅ Trust and confidence in the Police to administer the Arms Act fairly and without bias.
✅ Competency of the Firearms Safety Authority in processing applications, renewals, and compliance matters.
✅ Perceived fairness in how Police and FSA interact with law-abiding firearm owners compared to their approach to criminals.
This is your opportunity to share your experiences—whether positive or negative—so that COLFO can accurately represent the community when speaking with decision-makers.
Survey Closes March 30th – Have Your Say Now!
The survey is open until March 30th, but we encourage you to take 5 minutes now to complete it. The more responses we receive, the stronger our case when advocating for fair and effective firearms laws.
