Today the Council of Licensed Firearms Owners has written to three key recipients regarding a matter of principle that affects every licensed firearm owner in New Zealand.
While recent events involving the revocation of Brian Tamaki’s firearms licence have brought this issue into public view, COLFO’s concern is not with any individual case. We do not support or endorse the content of the statements in question. Our focus is on the structural risk created by the current licensing framework and the need to protect lawful speech.
